An old "builder's photo" from an N scale kit bash locomotive I built a while back. Trix mechanism with a Rivarossi boiler shell and a Model Power tender.

Russel, I always liked the look of the SP Pacifics and Ten-Wheelers with Vanderbilt Tenders!

I just got back from visiting my first grandchild in California, so I have got nothing done the last couple of weeks. So I will grab an old picture from my club photos for this week.

Well, I really had to stack on the wood to hide the decoder that rides on top of the motor in the tender. Must have got a good deal on firewood. ;)

There probably are not many models of a 4-2-0 ever bashed together in N scale...

Thanks Box. Always nice to see a compliment. Sadly, I'm retiring from model railroading. Health and old age has caught up to me at last. Jim

Alan, I've had a hard life and the twelve years I've been in this hobby has been filled with friends, layouts, and photos for sure. I'm embarking on acrylic and water color painting in the years I have left. Thanks, Jim(y)

Hope to see some of those. If you do as well at that as you have at trains, you should be doing some fine work. Maybe even a couple of trains for subjects?
