Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. Lotz of talent and neat ideas. So many trains and so little time! Best, Fred
Guys, I can tell you it was a very cool Show in Oslo. Lot's of nice people, interesting conversations, fantastic Layouts and more. I'll post my pictures when I received my baggage with my Camera, Diorama and Rolling Stock inside. It was lost in Denmark when I had to change the Airplane.
A lot of Z in one place. That must be what heaven is like!:teeth: Great photos with lots of detail. Thanks for the pic's and the update.
Jurg, never check in your valuables. All rolling stock and engines should be hand carry. I know I will not have any irreplaceble items in the check in luggage.
To late John! Yesterday night the Baggage arrived in Switzerland and was delivered to my home. Nothing missed!
Torsja sets a record Torsja, Torsja, Torsja, simply incredible pics, every single one. Nice mixture of European and American prototype. Thanks for spotlighting Rio Grande, with that sharp, sharp GP35. Gotta do one soon. Man they are captivating. Fr's incredible grain cars are looking better and better with each succeeding new road he comes out with. it was a very pleasurable hour and a half viewing, time well spent. Thanks so much.
Torsja, great pictures and thanks for sharing. I'll echo the comments of others, the photos are really outstanding!
I can't wait to mix in some DRG GP's into my UP fold, especially now that I see them all the time here in San Jose CA.
Hello Friends I've finally uploaded my pictures from Oslo on my website. http://www.rosetown.ch/News/Oslo/Oslo_show/index.html I want to say thanks to my Friends in Norway for the warm welcome! BTW, please allow some time until all pictures are loaded in your webbrowser.
Nice pictures Jürg, I thought the funny one is the stripped down bicycle, with the frame locked to the rack! Notice most of the containers in the harbor shot were Maersk! And you have a large collection of those containers now too! Cool!
Nice pictures Jürg. And again thanks for visiting us here in Oslo Jürg. It was rely nice talking with you face to face. Hope we get a chance soon again and even more time to chat about our passion for the Hobby and other things. Thanks for the trade with my home made Ford's and boxcars. PS: What was the name off the guy who made the motorcycles again?
Hi Torsja Gerhard Hannemann makes the Harley in a limited edition. Have a look at my Harley's painted by Álvaro.
Whoah Jürg, I see that I have still a lot of job to put my Harley spare parts together. The painting job is superb. Gerhard set a new milestone with his edged motorcycle collection.
Here is the 2 pic's that i got.. :s i alvays forget to take many pictures Here is a picture of the motorsycle i got from Jürg: I also got a microstructures house, but i forgot to upload it, i'll do it when i get home I like to say thanks to Jürg for bringing alot of rare models i'd thought i never se in real life, and to torsja for organising such a great show. Thank you!
Wilhelm Tell Express Hi Kim, It dosen't look like you got an answer here. These are Panorama cars of the SBB (Schweizerische Bundesbahnen) or Swiss Federal Railway. I beleive they are used on the Wilhelm Tell Express that travels through the Reiss Valley between the cities of Fluelen and Lugano. http://www.swisstravelsystem.ch/Links.3.0.html?&L=2 Steve F PS Wonderful show, the rest of this thread and photos speak for themselves
