Hobo Tim, I sure would like to have one! plus I have a friend also looking for one! One with the lights would be great!
For quite some time I have wanted to tour the Taylor container crane company just NW of Meridian Mississippi to get some ideas for the building of a newer model of intermodal container crane. Mi-Jack has some that look near identical for newer models. I have lots of photos and some dimensions but lack the full motivation to drive forward. Making a master from styrene takes time, but in the end, is well worth it. I got some ideas for better RTV molds for a Mi-Jack. Spin cast them slowly to remove bubbles! Working....... Keep it alive!!!! Build the Drive!!! Hobo Tim
Yes, there were a lot of us contributing! Just think, if everyone could have consolidated into one company! All that knowledge and expertise could have driven what would today be the biggest Z scale company offering a massive and diverse line of awesome!!!!! If Only! Good to hear from you Robert! Hobo Tim
True, so True!!! But what I left out of the above was that "What is good for Z scale is also good for N and HO!!!" We'd just do it the opposite of what other companies do, They start large and then downsize items! We'd start small and go large!!!!! :teeth:
Hobo Tim, I'm still thinking about this one an this is the first time I've seen all these post. I'm a new member about a year. When I posted the one that I did and wanted to have printed out at shapeways and then seen the one you did with the lights I just needed one. What do I need to do to get one for Norfolk & southern road name, MI-Jacks. Walt
Hobo Tim... I would be interested in 2, Z scale intermodal container cranes/gantries. How do I place an order? Thanks, Jim...
