Just thaught I'd let you in on the progress of the St. Lucas Northern...... Track laying just started, am about 75% done with scenery base and 25% done with scenery..... Hopefully in a month I will be working on painting scenery..... I hope... Well just thaught I'd break an update to you. trains are coming........
I'm still trying to finish my basement. Got any photos you can post? Would love to see what you are doing! Boxcab E50
I started my new layout some time ago, but due to lack of time, it is progressing very slowly Yes, we would love to see some progress photos of your layout
Same here....haven't made any progress at all since about a week before my first kiddo was born back on April 28th. Time just seems to have disappeared...
Well the layout doesn't really look very decent at the moment......... But I tell you what, as soon as I get the track laying portion done, I will fill you in with a few photos...... And in seconds I will post a track plan for you to see, but that's the best I can do for now (digital Camara in need here!)
Caliente looks about finished to me, Eugen Except when I was there, I parked the car just above where the Rio Grande boxcar is, and that area was very muddy and rutted The parade of trains was great, though But you are correct, a layout can be complete, but never finished
Eugen-Do you have any more pictures you can post. That sure is a very impressive model of Caliente. Congrats. John Nutt
Speaking as a father of four, I can attest to that- the new kids take up almost all your time. Don't worry- your time will slowly re-appear.
You can see lots of pictures of Eugene's layout at railimages just click on this link. Eugen Hanseler Rail Images Album [ 10. July 2003, 00:11: Message edited by: Colonel ]
Great layout Eugen, you really need to submit that to one of the nscale mags heck maybe even MRR would publish it. Great work !
Thanks Paul for the info on his website. My gosh this man has a talent to do these scenes in n scale. I could not do them this well back when I was in HO.
You and me both, John. I love the Caliente pics as I spent some time there a few years ago. Also the details in the city scenes id great. Good work, Eugen
This whole Caliente area is a blast. I think it was about 8 or so years ago and a budy and I spent most of a day in this canyon. The loaded oilcans came up the river wash with 4 EMD's on the point and 6 more towards the rear. We had hiked up the wright of way to where the rails disappear off to the left at the top of the canyon. Talk about a show Alan. I bet it took half an hour for the helpers to come slugging by us-what a treat to have witnessed.
Tank’s for the flowers guy's!!! I like that Hobby very much! I am in N-Scale since 1974!!! Only US -Style!!!
