I was just wondering what is the chance that AZL would release some of its previous Brass models in plastic? I am under the impression that the reason they are pricey is because of the brass? So would they every consider SD-40-2 or any of their previous stuff in plastic to make the prices lower? Just a thought.
It is always possible but at this time, AZL is not planning on releasing any of the brass run as injection items. AZL is planning on moving forward with injection runs that will increase the variety of locomotives and rolling stock on the market. The SD70 run will be injection as will the following yet named new locomotive release. Also, the rolling stock AZL is working on will be injection. We will see the Bethgon coal porters this December. It appears the first run of SD70 will be released early next year. Rob Kluz
Does AZL like suggestions? How about a "new" model that would be very similar to an old release? Like maybe the AC4400 CW? You could put me down for at least two CSX right now.
AZL always likes suggestions! Just let me know and I will pass it along. I have noted the AC4400 CW. I would be right there with you on the CSX paint scheme! Rob Kluz
How's 'bout a GP7 or 9? Or an SD-40-2 in plastic? Or atleast, a normal lookin' caboose for us west coast guy's?
