I was checking the schedule of a railroad museum in Holland for our upcoming trip and I noticed that it's closed on Christmas, New Years, etc. I was wondering what the holiday of "WHITE SUNDAY" is.
First Sunday in June Pentecost Sunday (White Sunday) and the following day (White Monday) is a day off work.
Similar to what we call Whitsun in the UK White Sunday has changed to Whitsun and it usually takes place on the last weekend of May when there is a public holiday on the Monday afterwards.
