I and Dane (another forum member here) are from North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We model a free lance line (EBC Rail Link - Eastern British Columbia Rail Link) and CP and CN. Our favourite area to railfan is the Fraser and Thompson Canyon. My favourite engine is the SD90's. My favourite visual is a long, long grain train snaking its way through the Fraser Canyon over the Cisco bridge. My favouritie American RR is BNSF, and "yes" I like it's latest paint schemes. My favourite passenger train is the Via followed by the American Orient Express.
My railroad (Sandy River & West Forrest) is a N scale very freelanced layout that cover the last 50 years The fictive location is in Southern Virginia near Roanoke. My own real location is in Southern Sweden ---------- Helge SR&WF NARA member #5
I live in Belgium.I try to model CSX and Conrail including C&O, B&O, WM, Chessie, Seaboard, CNJ, all freelanced. Paul.
I'm a Jay Hawker, born and raised in Wichita, Kansas U.S.A. now surviving in Texas. My interest has narrowed down to running steam engines, so the layout I am now building is centered around a huge 33 stall roundhouse that services any railroad's steam engine that needs repair. We restore antique and tourist engines, and are equipped to repair diesels, and doodle bugs, snow plows, and cranes. That way I can run any engine I choose. The roundhouse Manager is old, set in his ways, cranky, beligerent, short tempered, opiniated, and generally a real sweetheart! (After I have my morning coffee and a twinky!)
