MTL has 2004-1 as the conv for the light mountain. They don't list the heavy (or I missed it, I searched the sheet for the word Heavy after reading every Steam line). I've never seen a light mountain. The coupler box on the Heavy Mtn looks the same as the one on my Bachmann 0-6-0 which calls for an 1133. I have a 2004-1 and it looks too big for the box. Anyone have the answer? Thanks.
All the Spectrum tenders are pretty much interchangable between the models....at least that's what I find....I recently put a MT coupler on one of my 2-8-0's and I used a 2004. I had to trim a couple of little plastic tabs off the bottom of the tender and drill a hole for the screw, but it works great.
