After a bit of mail shenanigans, my two Rapido baggage cars finally arrived. Naturally, I quickly put them together with the rest of my Rapido fleet since they allow me to have the full consist for CN/VIA's Cavalier. (And yes, cellphone cameras have a long way to go before they can take on DSLR's.)

    Latest, Intermountain SD40-2 DCC/sound GATX Leasing. BLI GE AC9600 DCC/Sound UP #7512

Excellent Craftsmanship on the new BLI's

Shame the Intermountain are still deformed, you can definitely see the poor design against Broadways.

I was really excited with what they have done with the AC6000 and I don't have the Rolling Thunder sound system.

I'm buying the UP road # 7541 today I was so happy with #7512

If preorders count, I just reserved a Turbotrain in the early Amtrak scheme. Way out of my era, but... at this point, what isn't? So much for self-control. In the end, I took one last look at that (censored) old Bmann toy I had lying around, rolled my eyes, and declined to put it in the display case with my other models. Now I'll have a nice set of bookends- one of the first streamlined articulated trains in the US (the M-10000), and the last. I like the idea of that.

Is the walkway/sill piece simply hung up on the front of the frame, causing it to be pushed down some?

Jeff, I saw them at the N scale show in Pittsburgh, very nice addition to your roster, Also thank your for reminding me, I almost forgot. While at the show in Pittsburgh I picked up the USAF Bicentennial Locomotive and Caboose set. Being a veteran of the USAF I couldn't pass this set up. Although the base I was stationed on, we had a GE 44 tonner not a Baldwin. Atlas and the N Scale Enthusiast did a fantastic job on this set.

Hi Scott, I follow a couple of YouTube video Blogs from the UK and was wondering, are your Class 37 and Class 55 N scale or N gauge? I know British N gauge is 1:148 and our N scale is 1:160. How do these two British locomotives compare size wise to N scale 1:160 US locomotives? I've been tempted more than once to pick up a couple Graham Farish and Dapol British Steam locomotives, so far the price has been the deciding factor :ROFLMAO:

Failure! Out of the box, failure. No movement, a flicker of lights...nothing. Everything else runs fine, but not this brand new item. Now I have to PAY TO RETURN something that never worked in the first place? Furious right now.
