For the last several years, Micro-Trains has made factory weathered rolling stock with some have graffiti. I am amazed at some of these cars and have about 20 in my collection. I have mostly collected BN/BNSF but a few others as well. What are your favorites that have been made and why?
Don't know if it is 'weathered' but I like the aircraft fuselages and did they make the 'wind mill'? cars? Ironically they came out *after* I stopped accumulating.
Dave, I have tried this just once so far. I have the 16-car set of MT weathered Swift reefers. They Swift paint in the 1950s is bright red, I really like the individual and progressive weathering applied to each car, so they vary from looking almost new to quite dirty. This would be difficult for me to achieve on my own, so I appreciate MT's efforts. - Tonkphilip
My favorite is the pumpkin hopper that they did many years ago. I really don't care much for most ummm shall we say unauthorized artwork but for some reason, i just like this one.
