Concerning Ten87's logo, especially the last one which I think is great, you need to add one more loco. Yep, you left us contemporary modeler's out, so add an SD90 to the right of the F unit and you will have hit us all. Anyways, good work regardless of my meanerings.

Ed,the logo is GREAT!,But I'm contempory modeler and would like something more modern included on the logo.Better yet how about a contemporary logo to go along with this one? ------------------ Catt!member#118 NARA member#1 A proud member of NARA & A freelancer to the very end
You guys are killing me. Where do I fit horse-drawn trolleys, hand cars, MOW cars, etc into this logo? Maybe we ought to switch to a generic rail profile logo? ------------------ Ed Harrison Ed's Mental Cab Ride
Don't really like black & white logos at all, and doubt I would put that on my NARA site as is... need some color and 3D before I would accept that. Art
As one of the NARA members, I think we need something color as well. After all, we aren't a second-class, can't afford color kind of outfit. Why not something multi-colored since this is a multi-state, multi-national group...maybe you can incorporate the Canadian and US Flags as well!!! Isn't it fun.... Jeff Augsburg & Concord R.R. Ed,Two logos, the one you already have done, and a second with contempory locos. No trolleys ,no hand cars no horse drawn wagons. If all else fails remember I asked YOU to design the logo. ------------------ Catt!member#118 NARA member#1 A proud member of NARA & A freelancer to the very end
There is no steam here to offend the diesel lovers. There is no diesel here to offend the steam lovers. There is no transition era diesel here to offend the modern modelers. There is no modern motive power here to offend the transition era modelers. There is lots of colors here so those opposed to black and white should be satisfied. And finally, there is no way I'm gonna spend any more time on this... And they asked why I got out of the printing business 20 years ago... ------------------ Ed Harrison Ed's Mental Cab Ride
Nope, that ain't it...Looks to much like the "Man from U.N.C.L.E." logo! TRY AGAIN ED! Really, I don't care, I'm not a NARA member...yet. I think you guys are just doing this to keep from getting taken over by the Union Pacific. You could all come into the BNSF-AOW/MBL Family, we won't EVER get merged into the Borg, but they may get merged into US! ------------------ Brent Tidaback, Member #234 BNSF Railfan-to-the Max and a N-Scaler to boot! Sign me up for NARA please 8=) My road is the Feather River Lines, forever carrying the torch into the new millennium for the Western Pacific and subsidiaries, Tidewater Southern and Sacramento Northern, in spite of Uncle Pete's yellow beasties.... hey, at least the tracks are in place and the trains roll on and on............ At FRL we run 'em all: the Calif Zephyr in all her glory; high-rail pickup trucks thru the Feather River Canyon to check for rock slides; clickety clack interurbans; way cool Mikado's steaming up the High Line off the Keddie Wye; a DD40AX hauling treated water in turquoise tankcars for 1990's steam excursions; an itty-bitty juice jack hauling a 2-6-2 steamer and its train thru Modesto because the city fathers didn't like soot on Momma's freshly washed white sheets hung out to dry; the Foster Farms 100-car grain train running side by side with my car down 9th St in Modesto; and the Fab 4 F7A's working Altamont grade....... Come on guys give Ed a break he has been doing this as a favour to all of us. I have to admit i like the first picture i wonder if she would like to be my personnel logo? LOL. I do like the second logo with the 2 locos but would probably like a 3rd in the middle like what alan suggested. Please ED? ------------------ Regards Paul #1-Moderator & Member number 50 SPAD Investigator #1 ICQ 61198217 http://users.bigpond.net.au/railroad2000

Well here is the first membership list for NARA. Changes are sure to happen with new members and logos. What else does everyone want to see on this? http://members.nbci.com/Matthyro/members.htm A big thanks to Ed for his great work. It seems we can only please half the people all the time. ------------------ Robin member #35 Proud to be a foundation member of NARA , #2 Maberly and Tayside

I should be playing with trains now anyway. Here's one last graphic for those who want a generic NARA button for their web page. ------------------ Ed Harrison Ed's Mental Cab Ride

Since I made the membership list, I'll add my two-cents worth! I like the steam/F-7 logo because it represents the time when diesel and steam were both still around. It was a cross-roads in time and we all know where it lead. I think it is the perfect logo, whether in color or not. By the way, the man from U.N.C.L.E. pics not only brought back memories, but I have to tell you, I haven't laughed so hard in LONG time! Thanks for that. I also really like the "generic button" for the web sites. Happy Modeling and long live NARA!! John ------------------ The Santa Fe and Southwestern, Chief of the Southwest!!
