After 2 years of applying I sent in my app online and revieved the email back asking me to complete the online assessment! I completed the test yesterday morning and that afternoon I received an email The email says thank you for your interest in bnsf railways, we have recieved your application we will contact you via email if you are selected to continue in the process, and it says it will take between 2 and 8 weeks Does anyone know if this email means I passed or failed the online assessment?
Educated guess here, it sounds as though they're waiting for an application window to close and see the final rankings before extending offers.
I friend of mine hired on 2 years ago and said he got his invite 7 days after completing the assessment so im keeping my fingers crossed and waiting I was just curious if anyone knew

I agree with other posters, the carrier is waiting for the reply window to close and then evaluate the assessments that have made the first scrutiny as it appears yours has. If they weren't interested you would probably have received a rejection letter telling you that the carrier doesn't have any positions meeting your qualifications. CHarlie
Exactly right. I continued to receive straight-up rejection letters even after I was hired, so if they aren't interested, they will definitely let you know! S
