I'm going to try to start next week's on Thursday, because I'm clearly never going to get it started on Friday...or daylight hours on Saturday. Anyway, this is one I've already posted, but I love shots from the train station in Vancouver Wa.
Montreal Street Railway 274: MSR 274 was built by 1892 by Newburyport Car Mfg Co, Newburyport MA (they shut down in 1905). It was among the first electric streetcars to run in Montreal (they were horse-drawn prior to that). It was saved in 1950 by Canadian Railroad Historical Association and was the first piece of rolling stock of the Exporail collection. It is the only Newburyport streetcar that was preserved. Photo show the 1895 appearance as restored, with the open end platforms.
The evening of 11 Mar this eastbound train on the mainline is waiting for the grain to exit eastbound so he can follow.
From 07/21/2017 at Andrews Yard in Columbia, SC, numbers 708 and 3012 arrive. The 708 is an RP-E4C Road Slug, former GP-38 PC 7899.
OK, got off the wayback machine for a little while. This showed up in Marlette this week, so I added it to my file of modelable grain hoppers.
All this NS action, I can play too! NS 8109 led eastbound CP train 392 (loaded grain, Swift Current, SK or Portal, ND - Superior, WI) at MP 474, CP Portal Sub, near Burlington, ND:
