Based on the alarming sounds my computer's hard drive is currently making, I'm not sure it will turn back on when I wake up. Thank goodness all the pictures are backed up. But I'm going to let it be tonight rather than upload here. Hopefully you all are not having such issues.
I hope that your HD is okay Yoho and am glad that you backed up. From a year ago on 01/25/2017, an empty CSX coal train arrives off the former ACL at Devine Jct. in Columbia, SC:
BNSF WB grain loads knock down the signal at MP 2.9 west of Minot, on approach to Gassman Coulee Trestle, out of sight to the right. If you look closely above the tank farm, you can see the clear signal that marks the end of the two main track, and the east end of Gassman Coulee Trestle. I like the DPU shot even better, as the mainline can be traced by the headlights on the curve facing right, along the side of the hill.
Last week, Hemi posted an Absolutely great shot of Rio Grande 315 and 463. This week, I found this one of the other surviving K-27, No. 464 at work in more mundane surroundings far from home. Photo was taken around 2011 at Crossroads Village on the Huckleberry RR. near Flint, MI. The narrow gauge railroad and the village are both operated by Genesee County Parks and Recreation. They operate not only the 464 but also ex-Alaska RR ten wheeler 152. The former Grand Trunk depot in the background was moved from nearby Davison, MI.
