A little something to honor the Veterans today. My N scale rendition of the 1947 Freedom Train. And then a shot of my 1968 era Atlas N Scale train set.
Did not get anything done this week, due to other stuff being done this last week. Here is a picture from the vault of old pictures! Since it is a Holiday, I will throw in a picture of my DT&I Bi-Centennial #1776 with a Coil Steel Train. See you all later! Rick Jesionowski
I lowered the horizon and spotted the first delivery at D'Amato Supply Now I need to call out the roofer
Great modeling everone. I can almost smell the wood burning and the sawdust in HOExplorer's logging scene, and Josta's nighttime views put me in there on a hot summer night, with the crickets doing their bit on the side. And for the Veterans, a big salute to you, and thanks for making sure we live free and safe. If it weren't for those brave folks who went over to Europe to fight that lunatic in WW2, I wouldn't be here. The stories my parents told me of the Nazi occupation make the hair on the back of my head stand up. They were kids back then, and when the US Army finally liberated their village in early '45, it was a huge relief. As I say to a lot of people, today is not about the wars, it's about the people who fought them. Thank you for your service.
I salute all who serve and have served. They are the true Patriots. God Bless You, Uncle Ham. (Ace, 94th Aero Sqdn, shot down by AA on 10/19/18) Now contributing to support today's topic, I offer the Saucier Central's latest vacation spot. The Barn offers one-room cottages available for a week or more rental, unlimited access to Lyman Pond beach and fishing, and a rec area and Mom-n-Pop casual food and beverage in the Barn.
Let's get some Red, White, and Blue out there. Thanks to all who have or are currently serving. And to those who never returned : You are not forgotten !
Head on over to Hokum's. That will cure your blues. But behave! We don't want to see the coppers show up like last time.
Take it easy, Candy. Health is #1. Get well and when you come back, you can keep impressing us with your excellent work. That will also contribute to Hytec's good health...
It certainly gives the impression of needing service by rail. Keep the work going and the pics coming!
