I got my weekend off to an awesome start last night, at an op session on Anthony Donatelli's Western Maryland Tygart division. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Finished up my yard office project. Next - installation on the layout. (Sorry, for the crooked photos) Thanks, Wolf
I did not get any cars done this week, but I did complete another PC SD45 for the fleet. This is a Kato SD45, I removed the cast on lift rings and replaced them with wire ones from DA, also added a Sinclair Antenna and the Cab Signal Box on the walkway in front of the Engineer, which necessitated moving the grabs on the low nose to the fireman's side. Also installed red markers from MV Products, A-Line Windshield Wipers and DA MU Hoses. Painted the engine with Scalecoat II Black and lettered with Microscale Decals. The 6125 was one of 4 SD45's that received the Red P in the PC logo, did not last very long with the Red P as they faded quite badly and were later repainted with the entirely white PC logo. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski
I haven't really got into weathering yet but thought I'd give it a try while upgrading couplers/trucks on my walthers cryo-reefers. Weathered and added some graffiti to one of the two.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Installed a trio of decoders in some Kato's - two ES44AC's and one SD-70ACe. All running great now after working out a bug on the SD-70. Steve
