My private varnish, the HIRS "Hindsight Industrail Rail System", Loco was made with an extra PA truck and the front 1/3rd of an FP unit hence F1/3, and Oscar and Piker cars. :).

An Union Pacific mixed train departs Kathy's Springs one summer day in 1962.

(This depot is a recreation of the now-gone Palm Springs CA SP depot.)

I just finished my most recent project. Here are a couple of images.............................

Not only is it pretty, LOL, but it is functional as well. It will earn its keep! I made a track cleaner , or maybe I should say a rail polisher, by taking a Rocco 40' car apart and transplanting the slider into the well car ..........................................

I have some weathering to do but it is presentable as is. Thanks for looking.

Well, I am barely getting this in on the weekend!
Here's a shot of the Heber Valley Railroad's 618 with a train of red and grey cars, parked net to the Turtle Creek Central's 819 and their yellow and black heavyweight passenger cars.
