Good morning from sunny and warm Northeast Ohio! Only managed to get one car finished this week. Kadee 50' HF60 PS1 Boxcar Kit, painted with Scalecoat II ATSF Red and Black Paints, the lettered with Highball Graphics decals. Car was a 1962 purchase that was upgraded in 1971 with the new BAR Paint Scheme removing the Red, White and Blue State of Maine Products lettering with a new logo showing the coastline, mountains and wood products. This car was used in moving paper products from the mills in Maine across the country. A picture I took last week at the Strongsville Club of my Atlas RS-32's that i detailed to match NYC unit pictures. Hauling a mixed freight on the lower level mainline. Thanks for looking! A pair of Chinese State Railways East Wind 11 express diesels pull a standard rake of coaches somewhere in the dry deserts of northern china.
Great photos this week from start to finish. Russell's slightly moody early morning or evening lighting is excellent, the shays are great and the Chinese passenger train is distinctive. Also really liked Wolf's cement dealer and there was more of the usual good stuff from Rick. All in all excellent.
I love the shay! This is some fun created by someone in the local club who swears by rapido couplers. Usually it tends to engender more swearing:
-- Yikes -- the carnage!! I wanted to hit the "like" button -- but, not for the cars on their sides. Wolf
I received a set of pictures from Jörg Rüdi for to put in my German thread. Take a look if you like it!! https://stummiforum.de/viewtopic.php?f=172&t=171001&p=1994731#p1994731
