I have finally depleted my hoard of American Limited core kits for mounting passenger car etched sides. Here is a Pullman car that I built up using the last one. It is a post war, 44 seat coach, that the Santa Fe ordered a large number of after WWII. After using a bunch of them on the Milwaukee Road Hiawatha train that I built and all the Pullman and ACF cars that I built for ATSF and the MKT, they are all gone. Well the roofs, floors and ends are all used up. I still have a bunch of left over detail parts. But all the choice bits are gone from those sprues. Things like water tanks, battery box covers, brake valves, splicer drive generators, air tanks and reservoirs, electrical hook up sockets and many more things are all gone. I wonder if anyone picked up the molds to cast those old kits and is selling them again. They sure were great.

Good morning from cloudy, cool and rainy Northeast Ohio! Back to posting this week, been very busy with a lot of things recently. Managed to finish an Exactrail Evans 4780CF Covered Hopper kit, painted with Scalecoat II Reefer Orange paint and lettered with Oddballs Decals. Evans came up with their own design for a covered hopper to cope with the car shortage due to the export grain market and the retirement of 40' boxcars for grain movement. A pair Athearn Southern Railway GP38-2's with a general freight running on Strongsville club layout. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski
I searched for a photo I don't think I have shared. This is from my SPIDGE RR I had from 04 to 14. The GS4 and passenger cars were all Concor and the F3AB are Intermountain. I think I took this photo with a Razor flip phone.

Wow! That's fantastic! I have a photo of the Contra Costa in book on trains that dates back to 1934 (the book, that is). Impressive machine.
An abbreviated San Francisco Chief running on the NTRAK layout in New Braunfels today. I left out a few head end cars, coaches and sleepers so it would fit on the siding where I was setting up.
Continuing with the Trainmaster. This time it is Reading #803 bringing in a passenger train from Pottsville.
