Bob The "wire" is lycra sold in different colors and gauges, on spools, by Berkshire Junction. This first image is my train on Wig-Wag's modules and was taken by John Sing at Chantilly. Hard worked Mike : Westbound passenger train gliding through the dell:

Since I haven’t got a chance to get any new modeling photos I was going through some old rail fan photos and offer these: A “nice” photo of a couple of Chessie locomotives on the Philadelphia Subdivision eastbound as they approach Amosland Road in Holmes, PA. Here is a Philadelphia Chapter NRHS special of Reading Blueliners crossing the Schuylkill River into Manayunk. The bridge is the ex-PRR West Manayunk Line. The bridge is closed to rail traffic but is still standing. Next are ex-PRR Pioneer MU cars at Crum Lynne, PA on the NEC. Lastly is an RF&P on the westbound OBSS hitting the Ashland Avenue grade crossing in Glenolden, PA on the Philadelphia Subdivision.
Thanks. Yes, I chopped up DPM blank wall sections and had to scratch build all the windows, roof and trim. Here is a shot showing some of the windows I was building for it in front of a PHOTO of the church. [ November 05, 2005, 10:28 PM: Message edited by: r_i_straw ]
Tom: I do like that arched bridge. The Viaduct in Canton Massachusetts which was built in 1835 and one of the oldest viaducts for rail traffic in the United States is one of my favorites. My office was about one mile from that historic landmark. Stay cool and run steam....
I'm busy with my Pizza. It's still wet, but I couldn't resist taking pictures: ZOOM IN More pictures and text at my site. Happy tooot Wolfgang
Hey, Keeping with my NJT theme for the weekend, here's an old LL F-40 I did. This was only the 2nd engine I ever painted.
I finished and weathered another building kit along with some cast detailed junk: Stay cool and run steam....
Finally cleaning up this workbench. What a mess! I may eventually see the top of it. So, here are some old pictures of my cabooses. I like cabooses.
Here is the new MP 4-4-0 with a MT Z scale coupler on the back of the tender. I installed a Lenz 521W decoder in the tender and added some lead putty in the coal load area to provide better tracking of the tender: Stay cool and run steam.....
SLSF 2-10-0 1632, one of the many Decapods that never got delivered to imperial Russia in 1917 due to the Bolshevik Revolution, seen after restoration & return to service on one of the Sherman Hill Model RR Club's HO scale portable layouts.
And a couple of trains from Denver GATS: Pikes Peak NGineer Paul's UP (boo hiss) manifest: And a rerun of the tank train (which seems to travel a lot without actually getting anywhere):
Great shots everyone! This week I caught a coal train crossing the Tug river on its way to Bluefield. Dan
Ya'll remember this bridge west of Rollinsville? Well, it's history, sadly. After 100 years plus of trains pounding across it, Uncle Pete has recently replaced it with a modern concrete structure. Here, Warbonnets lead a BNSF manifest cautiously down the 2% grade: Warbonnets at both ends, what a treat! Also, while at Denver, North Yard held a great surprise: D&RGW 3100, unpatched!!! Earlier today, an 11-unit power transfer made its way thru the Moffat Route; Clay, and Tunnel 1, respectively:
Wolfgang Great shot! Those LPPs look like they are having fun! Mike Nice job on the NJT F-40! Bob Great looking detail parts! Nice job on the loco! Flash Cool looking cabooses! Friscobob Great looking train! Mark Nice shot and train! Eagle2 Nice photos! Dan Cool shot and nice looking creek! Hemi Great proto shots! That Rio Grande units doesn’t look half bad!
I finally got some new modeling photos done while I was testing some new gondolas I finished building and weathering. LNE RS-2 #655 is heading up a string of empty gondolas.
