I figured I could kick it off this weekend. This shot was Heliconed and then sepiaed with Paint Shop Pro X. There was also an additional adulteration in covering a relay box that had become unglued.
Bob- A terrific array. Steve- I became unglued about 25 years ago and reglued about 14 years ago. After receiving my MP 4-4-0 FINALLY today, it was like taking acetone and pouring it on CA. I became unglued, again. Nelson- Nice shot of the red building. I think you said it was a school in another thread.
Mark Great picture! The sepia really sets the mood! Nelson Great looking structures! I really like the shed with the tank! Bob Awesome photos! That sure is a lot of power!
Here is a shot of down town Richmond with the local Ford dealer. I posted this one of the prison farm on another topic.
Russell Great scenes! Here are my newest weathered pieces. The locomotives are Atlas CNJ RSD-4/5s that I weathered this week.
The last group are some custom painted and lettered Athearn hoppers. These have been part of the layout for a while. A special run Athearn hopper Another custom painted and lettered Athearn hopper.
A MDC gondola that I finished assembling and weathering a couple weeks ago. And lastly a custom painted and lettered MDC caboose.
Tom: Great weathering on the loco's and cars. What did you use to weather the loco trucks? the rolling stock trucks? Stay cool and run steam.....
Football is done! I now have my evenings back other dropping my daughter off at her school for cheerleading practice. I started weathering the RSD-4/5 locos and the covered hoppers on Sunday night and finished last night. The open hoppers, and caboose were done over six months ago. The gondola was finished a couple of weeks ago.
