Matt (Stickymonk) and Paul (Badger Creek) Templar standing near a Welshpool & Llanvair narrow gauge locomotive "The Countess" in the middle of the show hall.
Another view of the locomotive It is the centenary of the railway next year, as can be seen from the headboard
Hi Alan & Matt, nice meeting you guys again, tell Matt not to worry about the price he paid for the caboose, I'll sell him one of mine for 1/2 price Got Badger Creek all over it as well Paul
HI Boys it is nice to see you both and that loco looks mighty good too. Thanks Alan for posting this for us to see
The "High" Mr. Templar and Matt Curtis. WOW, thats 2 of the famous names in modeling for Trainboard! WOW! nice looking steamer too!
Martyn, the show was pretty good, if rather crowded, so it wa obviously well patronised, at least whilst we were there. One layout that caught my attention was a Euro-Swiss HO one. Here are a couple of pics. The curved viaduct on a steep grade was excellent, as was the working Gondolbahn, and a cable car. Also the buses on the road were in action, using hidden guidance wires. Can't remember who makes the system! All in all, a very good show, with the added attraction of the W & L locomotive and stock, also of course, another chance for a chat with Paul
I love the mountain layout Alan! Thats wild with the tressle and all. Looks like someone was well handed in craftmansship such as Mr. High Templar! Nice pictures!
