Does anyone have expierience with a walkunder lauout? I recently installed a drop section to allow access to my layout room while maintaining the loop profile I prefer and after about a week of working with it, I've decided that this is NOT the optimal solution. I'm wondering if anyone has built or worked with a layout that was designed with a lowered floor where you cross under the benchwork. I'm thinking about incorporating just such a design into my next layout.

I used to live where I could visit a layout now and then that had a walk under. It was one small step down, then back up on the other side. But not quite enough. You still had to "nod" your head. If not, [IMG] THUD-OUCH! A bruised forehead. :(

Otherwise, it seemed to work very well.......

There was a club just outside Chicago that had there layout in an old building with high ceilings and they built a walkover, It worked really nice!! ;)
