Not sure if it's new news or not, but Wabtec (aka Westinghouse Air Brake) will close its MotivePower facility in Boise, Idaho and move its work to the former GE locomotive manufacturing plant in Erie, PA. Wabtec bought GE's locomotive business earlier this year.
Guess I can understand why, but still sad to see them go. It has been through a few owners now. I wonder if anyone else might come in to that site?
