Large scale is readily available here. I did have a small amount, including an F7 in CN stripes paint, but it takes up a lot of space! So I sold it and went to N scale! It is great in the garden, and is weather-proof. Great fun, especially radio control versions, as you can sit in a chair, drink a beer and run your trains ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery Alan's European Gallery Alan's British Steam Gallery [This message has been edited by Alan (edited 10 August 2000).]
yes it is easy to get them sent to Europe, the only problem you have to solve is the bloody custom's problem. I solved this annoying problem, but can't tell about this in public. Sorry. ------------------ Paul Van Herwegen Rappannahock Terminal Railway
Yes there are several taxes: VAT tax Import tax and taxes for making up the above papers. this means if you buy for $100.00 of value you can easily pay about between $80.00 and $100.00 on taxes on top, which means you pay twice as much for your trains or other stuff! This is the case for Belgium, I do not know what happens in other countries. ------------------ Paul Van Herwegen Rappannahock Terminal Railway
