    Hello,

I just received today my Us-Signals from a small German manufacturer, Bernd Bauer, and I'am really positive surprised.
They are in the style of US&S Searchlight Signals.
There is a 2 Color Smd-Led integrated in the base, meaning that you have the 3 colors green/orange/red for switching.
The common is connected to the + Pol. The switched wires are grounded to turn on the light. All resistors and protection diode are also included. The mast consist of an optical fiber, the result is pretty bright light.
Bernd makes also very nice street lights, in the same quality and I already own a lot from him.

Armand, could you show us how you control the lights. I am interested, but I would like see how you install the lights first. It would be cool to have working light on the layout.

    Hello,

I asked him to make them the same way than the Viessmann Signals, means common Plus.
This has also the advantage that you can switch them with the existing equipement. I have one german copy from the Viessman connections with relays.
But some will use decoders, other transistor collector follower, so is open to different switching applications.

On the plan from Viessmann, "Einfahrsignal", you must connect the relay output wire "yellow/gelb" ,missing here, to the "red/rot" wire to make orange light.

For the price, it was around 20$, now I dont know if his price calculation is last issue, so it will be the best to contact him.

    Ah-Hah!!!

I see where this US Signal is alot easier to produce than what Chris has made and I have have tried to tackle too. A fiber optic cable up through the small brass tubing directs the light on an LED from the bottom of the base. Very easy to construct. Probably a T1 1/2 or T3 LED. Very good construction!!!!
