They are all going to be SD70ACE's.Now we need Kato to make them in Nscale.I will have to order the whole set of them or two.
I think it looks fantastic, very striking. I guess it would have been difficult to blend the green and yellow.
I'll have to say, I was hoping for the green and yellow, but I am actually pretty impressed with this one. I'll have to give a thumbs up to UP for this one (owww owww owwwwww, man that hurts ). friscobob, what's your opinion? beast
Last I read elsewhere Martyn...was that the other tribute or Heritage units are not due out until early 2006. I unfortunately do not know which unit is actually next. It is my understanding that the Wisconsin Southern is the RR that the UP is outsourcing the paint jobs too...excellent work, IMHO.
Nicely done paint scheme- honors the red of the Barringer era, the lettering is from the Sloan regime, and of course they had the good sense to include the proper MKT logo, as God intended. Two thumbs-up! I only hope it doesn't fade too badly, as red schemes are wont to do (own a red vehicle in Texas for several years, and you'll see what I mean).
