More news: 3985 and crew made it back to Cheyenne about 1AM on friday morning, since nobody was prepared for an overnite stay in Larmie, they decided to fix her, and run back to Cheyenne. I hear she ran well on the return trip. Rumor has it 844 will make a break in run on wed/thurs next week, to Denver and back on a 2 day schedule............. Stay tuned!!!
Any way to get a photo looking down on the Aux. tender tops? I need a clear shot of the top, and one showing all the piping between the tender and water bottles. Doesn't matter which engine, it is just for detail work. Thanks. email me if you got one. wdtrains@sbcglobal.net
I can get one, but I dunno how to gain the elevation minus a bucket truck.... maybe when the 844 does her break-in.....
