Does anybody know about U22C's. I was looking through specifications of some Queensland rail locomotives, and read that the 2600 class is actually a GE U22C. i was wondering if it looked similar to any that were operated in the U.S. Or if there have been any models produced of one, or maybe somethign thats similar. i would like to have a model of a Queensland rail loco, as no one really seems to make them.
Here is a photo of the Queensland Rail engine.

Nothing resembling that engine operated in North America. GE made a U18B as well as U23B & U23C models, but they looked very little like the engine from down under depicted. I know the Maine Central got some U18B's and the L&N (maybe) got some U23C's, but I can't think of any other buyer for either model. The U23B was by far the most popular, selling to a number of lines. I know the Milwaukee Road was included in that count, but I can't think of any else at this time.

GE did a whole range of export models which are fairly unknown in the states. As far as I know no one has ever done a model of any of them, except possibly in brass and even then I wouldn't bet on it.

Frateschi (a Brazilian company) makes a few GE export machines in HO scale, http://www.frateschi.com.br/ is their website. They don't list a U22C but they do have a U20, which looks like it would get you a loco a similar basic shape, though with a whole bunch of differences....
