    Hi all,

Just to drop you line that Two new bridges are scheduled to start shipping in the next 45 days. Please feel free to visit my site for more details.

    • 225ft Double Track Open Floor Thru Girder with 1" C2C spacing (Oct).
    • 225ft Single Track Open Floor Thru Girder (Nov).

The redesign of the Pratt to Z-Scale is complete, but I have not done the final sheet layout yet. I will be starting this soon.

Too soon to announce for Z yet, The next bridge has been selected. A 160ft Deck Truss designed from the NS crossing of the Potomac at Shepardstown. The design turns out to be very close to the Pratt bridge and will use components from that kit allowing for a quick release.

    Bob,

I notice that the N scale and Z scale bridges are the same dimensions. Are they the same kits? The reason I ask, I like the Parker Truss on the old PRR Trenton Cutoff at Whitford, PA. I remember watching trains pass over that bridge when I was just a kid. Then we would bicycle West to Downingtown and watch the freights pass over the viaduct bridges just South of town on their way West to Thorndale junction.

    Thanks.

    Robert

Ben, nice additions. ? Are there prices on the 90' and 120' Straight Deck Girders and, how about a Pratt Truss Deck bridge??? Would look nice on my planned upper level crossing.

Man, these various bridges from TrainCat and Micron Art are going to look awesome on my new big end module. Now that I have pretty much done with my Wye module rework . . .

The Z Pratt bridge does have the same length and height as the N Pratt, but the floorbeams and the upper lattice bracing were modified to a smaller width that would properly represent a large bridge in Z. The stringer spacing was also reduced so that the track is prototypically right on the stringers. The walkways were also narrowed for Z, but remain an integral part of the kit.
