    All,

I just took pictures of an Easy Peasy lighting board and a Walthers lighting board each sitting on top of a Con Cor Budd coach chassis and interior.

The Walthers board fits nicely. Its two contacts are on opposite sides of right-hand end. This board has six LEDs, but no flicker protection. With a little work I think you could add a super capacitor to fix that.

The batteries get in the way of the Easy Peasy board fitting in the car. If you removed the top half of the cylindrical weight/nut and trimmed a bit of plastic it might fit. The Easy Peasy board has just two LEDs, but it uses a pair of batteries to provide flicker-free lighting.

if it were not so late in the evening I would have made a quick page on my Terry Pitts - N Scale Home Page website and shamelessly drove up traffic there! In the interest of sharing knowledge I'll just post here... :)

Thanks Terry for pointing this out. How would a person instal a super capacitor to fix the Walthers problem.

Also would it be possible to wire cars in such a way as to improve on the flickering problem since it could allow for pick up from multiple cars?

I know that this will likely have to be applied to cars that would remain coupled together but even there micro connections might provide some way of doing this, with very fine wire, maybe doubling as the air brake and steam lines.

If you take this to your website please let us know.
