I bought 100 of the wheelsets from tgauge.us, and this forced me into designing and making my own trucks/bogies. I am at a point where they are usable and thought I'd share. My original plan was to use the P-012-1 hook-eye coupler set available at Tscale.us. I think I bought the last two packages they had and they don't seem available. So I ended up designing those couplers into the truck as a fixed piece (no spring). I struggle with the stock knuckle couplers since I'm old and tweezer work is difficult. These trucks use a different non-prototype design. Instead of the wheels being anchored at the ends in a cup-shaped socket, the shaft pops into a slot in the middle. Trying to get a consistent distance end to end with the cup sockets was nearly impossible, so I improvised. Now a word about the wheelsets--I am not fond of the plastic wheels. In my tests (and I did a lot of them), the plastic wheels are just as likely to slide as they are to turn. You can very easily spin the wheels with your finger, but when set on the railer ramp, for example, they're just as likely to slide as turn. If anyone has a solution to that, it would be wonderful. As a side note, I spent a lot of time trying to use the cup shaped anchors at the ends of the wheels and even when I could get those to spin freely on my finger, the wheels would slide on the railer or on actual rails. That was why I changed to using the shaft anchor. Anyway, here they are if you're desperate for a truck. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5432383 . Bogie_brand_new v43.png

Oh, one other thing. I made it so you can cut off the coupler end you don't need so you don't have to print one of each..a hook coupler and an eye coupler.
