I dont know how much interest there is for this here, but i just thought i would share, in case there are any people from near brisbane that might be lurking here :D

the 26th annual brisbane miniature train show is going to be on may 3rd-5th. at the RNA showground on gregory terrace and alexandria street.
the flyer says it is the largest rail hobby display in the southern hemisphere.

it looks like there will be alot of layouts there (there was last time i was there a few years ago)and quiet a few vendors.

looks like i should start saving my money becasue it seems likely that i will see something i want there. [IMG]

Thanks for the notice Steve, I attended 2 years ago and it was excellent. I helped exhibit a layout with MRL Mick and his friends.

There are as great deal of layouts on display as well as stores to spend all your money.

I was there with Paul, Steve, and I reckon it's got to be the premier exhibition on the Australian model railway calendar.
It was great to see such a diverse number of Queensland-based layouts, something we didn't see much (if any) of in NSW.
