Headed out for another deployment here soon. Packed up an ample supply of railroad magazines, some track planning tools and a locomotive to oogle at every now and then. My wife is going to forward more reading material as it comes in the mail. Looking forward to going out and doing what I've been training for this last year. I'll visit here often, just won't be able to post much. Good luck on your projects and plans everyone, I'll be railroading through you for a while.
Just be sure you remember how important it is to run some trains back home here when you get through over there. It's easy to forget that. At least it was for me in Viet Nam. You just think everything will wait for you, but it won't. It's not bad to go and I am glad that you have that chance. Just don't like it too much.
