Well, I'm going through my old posts (Snow shoveling done and it's cheaper than looking for some things I want fo the house.) I'm compiling the knowledge I've asked for and then not used... Now that I'm starting in earnest, I'm finding that I didn't retain alot. Anyway, to the title. In one of my early posts, I asked about cleaning up the drive on this loco. Oldrk, asked for some pictures. I never responded. The question was: could I put this shell on a reliable chassis. Its an old LL plastic frame F7A. I'm still considering it. I'm not sure if oldrk asked for the pic because he had the indy car pictured, or if he was offering advice on the loco... Anyway, happy snowday.
I probably was curious about the cars but back to your question. If memory serves me correct the LL F7 frame is a bit on the large size. I dont see why you couldnt make it fit on a Kato F7 mechanism with a little work.
