Talks about operations between Dolores and Mancos.
Mainly lumber, from the Montezuma Lumber Company.
Located at Glencoe(Arloa, by U.S. Post Office Department).
Again, as with all previous volumes, a very interesting read.
Well worth reading and/or adding to ones book collection.
IF you can locate a copy for a reasonable price!!
Three of the last Four books I needed ran well over $200 each!
But, I'm grateful I have copies of them. So might think I'm off my
rocker for spending that much for them, but to me, worth the price paid.

    Up next, Vol 9

I see the name Glencoe mentioned. Is there a d or train order office photo, by any chance?

Do you have all of the volumes now?

    Very few photos of Glencoe.
    No photos of depot etc...
    Yes, have complete collection now.
Last couple books I needed, arrived about a month ago.

Rats. Apparently Glenoce will remain somewhat of a mystery for me.

    Located at Milepost 111.77.
There is one photo that includes the depot/residence.
However, it is blocked by a loaded lumber car!
Location formerly named "Morgan" and had a Post Office from
    October 24, 1887, until May 4, 1891.
Any depot views in photos are either distant or obstructed.
A good clear shot is not found. Why there are not photos can be anyone's guess.
My guess is that lack of decent wagon trails/roads kept transportation to a minimum!
Especially in winter and spring. Just a wild guess on my part anyway !!
And with questionable railroad service as it was...
