A new little TrainBoard member had a long train of thought. He went along very well till he came to a steep learning curve. But then, no matter how hard he tried, he could not get the motivation again. He pulled and he pulled. He huffed and he puffed. Until he found TrainBoard.com and started off again. I slide open the door and and place my baggage on the overhead racks. As I sat down a voice comes over the PA "Attention TrainBoard passengers!, We have a new member on board with us, and I'd like you all to assist him" The Conductor has punches my ticket. "Where are you headed today?" he asks "I have no idea" I replied "but I'm sure it'll be wonderful" Just then the engine shunts into the carriages, a whistle sounds and I am about to head on a great journey with you all. ....THE BEGINNING
Hahaha. Awesome first post lavenlaar! Welcome aboard! So no clue where the destination is? Let's see if we can't figure it out... Are you a model builder/observer/operator? If so, what scale? Have a layout yet? Are you a railfan of any sorts? Whats the favorite Railroad(s)? Those are just a few questions to determine the general direction. Please let us know so we can jump aboard with you! We wouldn't want that train to derail!
Thanks Mark Destination = a started and finished layout hmm, builder - but not to the professional standards around observer - love trains since a child, always wanted a set - never had one Operator - not to the point, im happy enough for a loop and let her go My most favourite (model) railroads that resparked my interest would be Badger Creek - Paul Templar Coast Line RR - Troels Kirk But I do also have an interest in 1:32 slot cars (due to the fact im a motorsport photographer) and would love to combine the 2 hobbies into 1 decent rail-come-road. attached 1. what i started about 2 years ago On30 scale but the heat in shed warped everything. So im going indoors now. Approval from Minister of Finances & War 2. how it appeared after 1 module done. Thanks for the Welcome as well GPA BoxcabE50 Subwayaz

Welcome aboard Lavenlaar! I really like the truck shot. Also the modeling shots look real good, too. I love the car sitting there by the retaining wall and the water looks real. Michael
Welcome to TrainBoard! Great first post and even better to mix the slots with the trains. Glad to help out and looking forward to see what you come up with.
