Eric, it IS BLS equipment; I have been working for BLS as a locomotive engineer/conductor for 3 years by now. before that, I worked for SBB passenger division (perhaps that was the misunderstanding). We share our newer equipment i.e. Re485/185 with DB Railion/schenker, our cooperating partner in northern europe. SBB is our strongest competitor for rail traffic in switzerland... Daniel
Bob, I know that those kits are phenomenally beautiful but I can think of something else beautiful that could be in the bed !! .
Loren, Did Daniel tell you that he often takes his girfriend along the rides (he says it is tough to stay awake on the long trips so he needs company). Yeah. Uh huh. So that's why I got a ride ? HEY, don't go there !!! .
ME Hi..I am the new guy Kelley, who lives in Germany. I started out here last year when I was in my HO phase. This was taken at a nice RR Museum in the Pfalz. I got to ride the cab of a T-3 they have!
Hey welcome to Z Kelley. I didn't see this post at first! Good to hear you got the HO out of your system!
This is my husband Loren and I. We are one of the happiest Z scale couples around. I am very proud of his accomplishments and it has created me the desire to make my own mark in the Z scale world. Together we are much stronger than as two individuals. Thank you Jurg for starting this thread a long time ago. I hope it continues as I want to see you all. I just wish we could all get together in one place, all of us from around the world at the same train show. Then pictures wouldn't be necessary. Wouldn't that be cool???? Oops, can't find a URL of us, why can't I use one from our own computer??? Karin Snyder
Karin Upload the pictures to the railimages site, see link at to of every page. Then copy the URL from there and paste it in this forum
Karin, you can always email it to me, and I will upload it for you. In the long term, use Railimages.
Rob, Is that the thing you are wearing on the head make you go in the virtual 3D world... and makes Chris look like Angelina Jolie. hahaha... nice pic though. Kim
Hi, as a frequent reader but seldom writer I really enjoy this forum a lot. Now that I finally started to built my layout I will probably write some more. Mattias
GN-Z-phile My turn! That said, I posted my photo on Trainboard where I am "GN-Z-phile", but used my Z-Scale Central screen name GNFan...duh! Here's me, and my "kids": http://www.trainboard.com/railimages/showphoto.php/photo/101644/ppuser/5463
Mathias, do start writing and taking pictures of your project. It will be more fun for all. Mike, those E7s are pretty rare. Only 4 sets in the whole wide world, and wheres the personalised Pullman? Also, look on how I inserted your picture, so you can do it yourself next time. Just right click on the pictures and go down to properties, then all you have to do is copy the url.
Hope it's OK for a HO rail here. The photo is a bit dated but I look the same just less hair on top. I'm the one in the plaid shirt working the logging line on the club layout
Ben, its not really me, I am still in the old Southwest dessert sand beige. Mr. SP, everybody is welcome to Z land.
Yes John, Everyone is welcome here, but don't you think it would be a great idea if he gave Z a try? Couldn't hurt too much Loren
