Hi friends, As I said in the thread Braziilian diesels, I live in southeast Brazil and here we have some interesting railroads. My area is served by bolth meter and broad gauge, so we have a third rail on most lines here. EFVM and FCA are great meter gauge companies and bolth use locomotives with BB+BB trucks. EFVM has BB40-9 and BB40-9W made in Canada, BB40-8 made here in Brazil and almost 100 BB36-7 rebuilt from old US B36-7 and C36-7. It also have BB45-2 rebuilt from old ATSF SD45-2. But the most interesting locomotives of EFVM, to me, is DDM45, a narrow gauge version of standard SD45 that uses D-D trucks, like old UP and SP DD35. FCA has a lot of locomotive models, but it also have locos with BB+BB trucks. The company bought 11 SD40-2 from CP and UP and 19 SD40T-2 from DRGW and SP and rebuilt all them to BB+BB. So, now we have BB40-2 and BB40T-2 running here. Now they are the longest locos in Brazil now, with almost 26 meters long. I intend to post pictures of them here, but I really do not know how. This forum is a bit different from the others I usually post pics. I can´t find the upload button to search my pictures. Where is it?
Very interesting. To post pictures, once in the topic creation screen, under "Instant UBB Code" header, hit "Image" and enter the URL of the picture itself (as in: http://www.imagehostingsite.com/images/yourpicture.jpg .)
Pedro: There are four guys who monitor this forum. They can go into one of your posts and modify it so you can see how they posted a picture. Those guys are from the UK or Australia and they are asleep right now. I am trying to think of something. Those guys can help you tomorrow when you will be asleep.
Check this url. I posted your picture. If you can make a post under that thread, I can help you. http://www.trainboard.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi/ubb/get_topic/f/9/t/007285.html?#000000
Pedro, It is quite simple to post pictures. cpy the link from the site where the photo is stored. click on full reply form then select the image button and paste the link into it.
Why the links I posted here disappeared? I past this one as colonel said, but when I click the reply button the links gonne away
the link you posted is incorrect this is what the link should look like http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/pictures%5C3812%5C733%20875_n_granja_22maio2004.jpg Right click on the image you want to show and slect copy link location then paste that link into the image box. The link should look like the one i just pasted.
"{img]http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/pictures%5C3812%5C733%20875_n_granja_22maio2004.jpg[/img]" Here is the proper link between the "img." Notice the first { is incorrect. If I changed it to [, it would give a photo.
I have no idea. They've not been deleted. I see a read "X" showing. Which means the image URL you posted is still there. Possibly there is a problem outside of TrainBoard, that has broken the link for now. Boxcab E50
