I've heard of guys digging out their basement to build a layout, did the itch to build it take over before you could finish digging? Now if that brat did the same to my train I'd kick him in the rear end hard enough to knock his teeth out. You're right on all counts BigBoy, I had to soak the engine gears and truck in bleach for a few days, then reassemble. I notice at the bottom of your post, it looks like you were trying to post a photo. To do that, it only works if you copy and paste the photo on your server, not your webpage. And you must make sure the photo is yours, not copied out of some book. Most photos on the web are copywrited, like on Trainorders.com and others. You can post one but you have to have a written permission FIRST from the copywrite owner, see? To post your photo here Print this out) Scan photo and save it down to around 600KB and save as a .jpg file and at medium resolution so it will end up as an Icon showing around 50KB for posting the right size here on the TrainBoard. Left click on your photo's icon to highlight it, then: Do a right click and select COPY, (Close that folder), then go open your SERVER folder and again do a right click (somewhere in the middle of your screen) and then select PASTE to put the 50KB photo on your server. When you make your post, skip one line, then type it like this: (NO SPACES) "]http://www.steamlocomotive.net/yourserver.net/yourwebname/bigboy.jpg[/IMG][/url] (That is all one line of type, see?) Then it will show up, This does not work on AppleMac, only on IBMPC's though. If you need help, e-mail me and send me an attachment of your photo (1) and I'll write out the code like above. No, those are links that you copy and paste to the web bar! I wasn't trying to get a picture in, but I'd thought it would be nice to add those in for anyone looking for info on the Big Boy.
