Hello all, I have chosen Walther's track for my main layout and Walther's #6 switches. My main layout portion is based on Atlas's Great Eastern Trunk and the switchyard is the Mechanic St. Station from Linn Westscot's 101 Track Plans. I was wondering if I should use Walther's track in the yard or switch to Atlas? Also should I use Atlas switches in the yard or stick to an all Walther's track for both parts? thanks in advance jai
Walthers switches (made by Shinohara) are much higher quality than Atlas. I would go all Walthers turnouts and just use Atlas for the flex track.
