Struggling with idea of raising layout height

    The thing under the window is actually the stand for my Allegheny River Diorama which also supports the connecting bridge and my stereo system along with my computer. It is completely movable.

    The cassettes will be attached to the end of the North Unitrack Layout going out the door to load and unload. And then I’ll have to very carefully lower them to a rack below. I haven’t figured out the details for the rack yet and I’m waiting to get the shelves up to see how much room I have.

    Anyway this is what I have so far and like I mentioned earlier, I’m having second thoughts on how I’m going to fasten it to the wall. The steel was left outside in the rain so I’m letting them dry off and warm up before bring them inside.

    !0-4 . I see what you're getting at with the boxes sticking out the ends. There is no rule about size of posts. There are many, including mine which take up most the page and are not even photos, just paragraphs ..Would like to see your current track plan if possible..Oops. I didn't notice the follow photos past this post 'til after I'd entered it. What you do have that I can see looks really good.
