    Hi all,

Signature Press' PFE book shows that a batch of PFE steel ice reefers had 3/3 ends. In particular, the few ones painted silver.

Does anyone know of an acceptable model of this car? (C&BT Shops is supposed to, but obviously no dealer can have them, definitely).

2nd-choice question, does anyone know of 3/3 ends as detailing parts? Or are 3/3 ends used on an other model (boxcar...) for kitbashing a suitable reefer?

    Thank you,

    Phil

Darren, thanks for the heartly welcome! Don't think I deserve so many large smiles, as at second glance I appear being a very bad guy, you know...

You are into D&H? When I was in Poughkeepsie (NY of course, where else?) in '79-'80, I remember some commuter trains to NYC had former D&H cars. I remember one with the name "Schroon Lake", or something like that. Handsome car, nice ride.

May have a picture somewhere if you are interested, however I moved not long ago and still have to sort-out some mess (not that a D&H picture is a mess in itself of course, I just mean the D&H picture must be in the middle of other stuffs that, -them-, are a mess).
