Hey guys, how about reviving what went on with real 12 inch to the foot scale steam in 2004? I know Darren and Jeremiah have some contributions. We can start with the last stuff that happened (at least for me) and show the 4449 on a great tour of Idaho and Montana in October.

Anyone remember this engine? She's back!! And better than ever. Soon to be painted, the firebrick is being installed, and break-in run should commence in a few months....
For those with High Speed connections a MPEG (5MB / 15 Seconds) of Shay #12 building up steam can be found at the below URL (RailImages) http://www.railimages.com/gallery/Georgetown_Loop_2004 Also there is a Windows Media file (168K) of #40 in action too.

CP 4-6-4 #2816 has left Montreal and is headed to the Canadian Railway Museum in Delson and is seen here crossing the St. Lawrence River on CP's St. Laurent bridge which IIRC was built in 1896.
Also, the Aux. Tender above is the old D&H 35508 MOW which was orignally the tender for Challenger #1517. Shown below is a series of photos of that tender.
