Thanks - I'm in my basement so I think the basket is from my freezer. You can have it if you want! I'm thinking about doing this project on Youtube, but I don't know where to start. Maybe my 16YO son can help me!

Here is my first video for the restoration of my Marklin 8910 Z-Scale layout. Please let me know what you think!

HI - I just realized that I started this restoration adventure in 2018 and I was able to finish this amazing project. I was at the Springfield Mass show with my layout and it was well received. Thanks for all the advice and encouragement!

Did you ever post a picture of the completed layout?

Good to hear you took it to a show. That's the best way to feel satisfaction of a job well done, by sharing with others interested in trains, and yours has a great backstory!
