Well I got these spine car kits from Alan Curtis. I got them built. Even got them painted. Started to decal them with Microscale decals. You have got to be kidding me!!! I can't even read some of these decals. I got out my reading specs, added a magnifying lens that I use for tying fishing flies, an opti-visor and a magnifying glass. I got enough magnification to rival the Hubble telescope. I still can't read some of the decals. Then there is Microscale's instructions which are only a shade above being totally useless. The instructions only make me glad I can't read the decals because if I could read them I won't know where to put them! Looks like I need to photo some spine cars. Nice cars though!
I know what you mean! Some of the decals just look like smudges if you put them on, so I leave them off. I have decalled hundreds of these cars, so I can just about do them in my sleep
Maybe MS is listening...I know for me it's really frustrating that the instructions seem to be a reprint of a TTX manual. Some of their other sets, like locomotive data, number the decals and show exactly where each goes. Wish they'd do them all that way.
