    Hi friends
While I'm waiting for my brass sides to get here I spent the evening lastnight trying to figure out the articulating connection for this car. This is what I came up with, the connection operates real nice over any track formation I run it through and the full width diaphragms flex well without interfering. I have tried it on 19" curves only so far but it looks like the car would handle a 15" curve without any problems.

Looks like a passenger car for midgets.... [IMG]

Seriously, keep us posted, looks like it's going to be an interesting train!

Bob. Thanks for posting those pictures. I would be very interested in a picture step by step assembly when you get the rest of the sides ect.

    Bob-

You might want to wait for the DPH parts to come out, unless you just can't wait to get the train finished!

They are nice pieces, and can be unhooked very easily. They are made to work as a module attached to the end of the core kit. Shouldn't be much longer until they come out...

A friend sent me a photo of the articulated coach that was on display at the Houston show and without question its far better than my effort. I will work on the standard cars for now and wait for the Des Plaines core to come out
