And as an aside, they have been sorting out the stored units at the roundhouse area. It is primarily 70MAC's with a few GP's. The GP's were in service until they just parked them over a year ago. The MAC's have all been here for a few years.
Just random metal that folk bring in. Not tearing up any rail around here, currently. They will get a few gons in, then fill them up with the random junk they have cut up and sorted out. Old farm equipment, cars, oilfield stuff, etc.
Naw, it has been stored dead for years, before the roundhouse shutdown. They originally had two of these for shuffling power in and out, one on each side of the 'house. It has a circuit for rolling in the 'house on battery power only, which is pretty neat. And less stinky!

A westbound starts to pull forward to do setouts. With historic buildings and structures disappearing under the guise of flood protection works in MInot, ND, I am shooting everything I can. This is the old crew change building BN and BNSF used. And an artsy-farsty shot near the water treatment plant looking at a westbound grain load grinding up the .62% out of Minot:
