This made me chuckle a bit thinking of an "N scale" UFO. How big would one be in N scale, does anyone have measurements? I understand what you mean though, I don't think anyone want an "Independence Day" UFO hanging over their layout!
How can you tell that a politician is lieing..............their lips are moving ! R O F L M A O !!!!! :frustrated:
http://www.dudeman.net/siriusly/ufo/tech.html about halfway down the page. A UFO is 40' in diameter. That is 3" in N scale. A cosmetic case is roughly that diameter. Just sayin...LOL
No it isn't! The one I have in my garage is not that big... Err, oops. Never mind. I didn't say that.
I would suggest you create your UFO not as a hard-edge plastic or metal shape made of some solid material, but as a holographic projection. That way, it can be both "there" and "not quite there" at the same time. Specialists in the field of hypergeometry and UFOologic physics all know that UFOs exist somewhere partly in our space-time continuum and partly in another dimension, which contributes to the sense of Strangeness, to those who observe them.
Stardate 68354.9: I should not have said anything. Black helicopters. Strange noises all night. Men in black suits on the sidewalk. They're after me. Coming to take me away.
We all might be our own aliens. But...that's another discussion for another place and time. So, do we get to see pictures of these nomad's from outer space?
Two lids of the same size from Folgers coffee. You can use either size. You could also use two large lids and fasten one small one concentrically. Find a way to fasten them together, (I'm thinking masking tape. Paint flat black - maybe using Krylon. Mount on something large enough to hide a pack of AA batteries Run wires into the saucer and light up LEDs
On a related note, how many people have put crop circles on their layout? Bonus points if they can be switched on and off.
This is a UFO I saw years ago and got this photo of. It was on the Disneyland set of modules built by Doug Gary of New Mexico. It was in the parking lot. I finally got off of my butt and looked. Here's a 1/144 scale plastic model kit of a UFO https://www.google.com/shopping/pro...=X&ei=I0FyU8KpLcWwoQTLw4HADg&ved=0CPkDEPICMCE Another 1/72 scale kit (how can they call it 'scale'?). Even though it's HO 'scale' I think that the size is more important: http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/pgh/pgh9100.htm From Lindburg and glows in the dark: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LINDBERG-UFO-PLASTIC-MODEL-KIT-GLOW-IN-THE-DARK-KIT-NO-1152-/221434553459 Another that says 1/72 scale but is 5 1/4 inches long so it could work as well: http://www.hobbylinc.com/atlantis_t...tic_model_space_craft_kit_1:72_scale_amc-1002 Not in stock at this place but 1/144 scale War of the Worlds space ships: http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/pgh/pgh9202.htm
