I won this rather ugly (in my opinion) Shell Gasoline Car off eBay, and thought that if I decided I didn't like it, I could always hack it up into something else. So my question to you is this: should I just keep it and roll it as it is, or should I make it into something else? What should it become? What would you do?

Well, it can be turned into a 40' flat car and a large propane tank outside of propane or fuel company.

I would use the tank as part of a structure. Probably get a couple other size tanks and make a fuel oil and coal distributer or something from it.

    Nice Pennsy flatcar!

I was going to suggest one of Dan's Quonset Huts, and went to Hobbycraftsandmore but there are none listed under La-Z-way-out at this time. ;)

    Robert,
Unfortunately, work related travel has delayed further production. I've been on the road (for the most part) since the first week of November. I'm hoping to get enough home time to order supplies and do some casting in March. I initially made 10 junk yard sets, which went pretty quickly. I planned on making more, but the travel kicked in. Damned day job.

    Thanks for the mention, anyway.

I understand completely Dan, I am always working too, and I have tons of little projects in the works in the spare time too. It's hard to get things done, but we do as much as we can. :)
